They kept their momentum going with multiple wins which culminated with a massive 30-0 victory against the Steelers.
A final round loss to the bottom placed Bulldogs was a slight dampener on a remarkable regular season.
While they may have lost on the day, other results from across the league saw the Knights wrap up the minor premiership.
The fairytale season came to an abrupt end as the side were defeated 26-10 by the St George Dragons in their semi final at Leichhardt Oval.
The team will have their eyes set on another strong season and finals redemption in 2022.
