Registrations are now open for the 2027 Newcastle Knights Dance Squad, and we are searching for talented dancers ready to elevate our game day entertainment.
Featuring choreography across pom, commercial and hip-hop styles, the new squad will bring energy, precision and entertainment to every performance.
If you are enthusiastic, athletic and confident representing the Newcastle Knights and are interested in being part of a highly trained, versatile dance team, we want to hear from you.
We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals with a passion for performance and a positive approach to representing the Club.
Squad members will have the opportunity to represent the Newcastle Knights at home games and participate in a range of corporate, community and charity events throughout the year.
Applicants will be selected based on several criteria including:
• Dance ability
• Dance style
• Physical fitness
• Personality and professionalism
Auditions for the 2027 Newcastle Knights Dance Squad will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, 16 December 2026 at McDonald Jones Stadium, 294 Turton Road, Broadmeadow.
To be considered for a position in the 2027 Newcastle Knights Dance Squad, applicants should:
• Be at least 18 years of age as at 1 March 2027 and hold a current driver's licence
• Have availability to participate in Newcastle Knights home games throughout the season
• Have availability to participate in weekly Tuesday evening training sessions
• Have availability for community, charity and promotional appearances throughout the year
• Be comfortable learning and performing routines following approximately four to six hours of rehearsal
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility and commitment to the Squad and its activities.
Applicants must complete the audition form below, which includes important information about the audition process, and submit a current full length photograph.
Submitted photographs will remain the property of the Newcastle Knights.
