Season Review: Enari Tuala

Another hugely impressive performer from the 2021 season was Enari Tuala.

Tuala finished first on the Club's try-scorer's list with 13 tries for the season including 11 of those coming in the space of seven consecutive games.

The try-scoring machine became the first player in Knights history to score a hat-trick in a finals game, scoring the feat in the Elimination Final loss to Parramatta.

In a season mixed with injury tolls, Enari was ever-reliable in 2021 playing in all 25 games and every single minute of the Knights campaign.

The vital outside-back played the first 18 games in the centres before a shift to the wing proved to be a masterstroke.

In Round 20, Tuala scored a devastating hat-trick against the Canberra Raiders including a thrilling solo try.

Tuala just cannot be stopped

Tuala was also reliable in returning the ball from the back and starting the Knights' attacks.

He averaged 134 running metres in his last seven games on the wing, 33 metres above his average for the season.

The outside back also combined with 46 tackle breaks and 16 line breaks over the course of 2021.

Since arriving from North Queensland in 2020, Tuala has scored 24 tries for the Knights and will eye the top try-scorer accolade again in 2022.
