Fans will have the chance to show their support for the nib Newcastle Knights as the team departs Newcastle for Sydney on Saturday morning, ahead of Sunday's Grand Final.
The team bus will depart the Knights Centre of Excellence at 9:30am, travelling through Newcastle and out towards the M1 via Wallsend.
Fans are encouraged to line the route, wave their flags and cheer the team on as the bus makes its way out of town.
The bus will turn right onto Lambton Road, then right onto Turton Road, passing McDonald Jones Stadium, before turning left onto Griffiths Road.
It will continue along Newcastle Road before heading towards the M1 via Wallsend.
Please note: Fans are asked not to gather at the Knights Centre of Excellence. Security will be in place to manage entry points and ensure the team can depart safely and on schedule.
Instead, the club encourages supporters to find a safe spot along the route to wave the boys off and show their support all the way through to the M1.
Fans are reminded to follow all instructions from NSW Police, remain on footpaths and stay off the road at all times. Please ensure your chosen viewing spot does not obstruct traffic or create a safety risk.
We appreciate all the support and understand everyone's excitement.
Let's give the boys a memorable Newcastle send-off as the town gets behind the team for Sunday's huge clash.
