It was Round 26, 2017 Jesse Ramien made his NRL debut.

It was for the Cronulla Sharks.

Coincidentally it was at McDonald Jones Stadium against the Newcastle Knights.

But this time for the red and blue.

“I can’t wait to get out there and have the crowd behind me this time instead of shouting at me,” Ramien laughed.

“I’m keen to get out there.”

Playing against his old team, alongside one of his former teammates Edrick Lee, it will definitely offer a few insights into enemy territory.

“Bit more familiar than a lot of other boys,” said Ramien.

“We (Edrick) have shared what we know.”

Set to line up on the right alongside veteran Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Ramien admits he’ll soak up all he can.

“He has a lot of experience and always pulls me up on little things I am doing,” mentioned Ramien.

“Just to have someone like that helps my game, which helps the team massively.”
