Melbourne have been boosted by the return of fullback Billy Slater.
While he's yet to train with the team as he rehabs the hamstring injury which ruled him out of Origin I, the custodian is penciled in to return for Sunday's clash with the nib Newcastle Knights.
They also welcome Will Chambers back from suspension but will be without Test enforcer Jesse Bromwich.
INJURY FORCES BENCH CHANGE TO KNIGHTS TEAM
The forward picked up a hamstring injury last week which has ruled him out for several weeks.
He has been replaced in the starting side by Tim Glasby.
