The Newcastle Knights are proud to announce Soul Hub as their April Charity of the Month, shining a light on a local organisation making a life-changing impact in the Newcastle community.
Established in 2003, Soul Hub serves the poor, needy, and vulnerable, offering critical support to those facing homelessness, addiction, and poverty.
With a growing number of disadvantaged individuals in the region, the demand for Soul Hub's services has never been more urgent.
In 2024 alone, the organisation provided an astonishing 71,995 free meals and distributed 7,979 grocery hampers.
But Soul Hub’s work extends far beyond food assistance.
The organisation is committed to restoring dignity and hope by connecting guests with a range of vital services, including substance abuse programs, accommodation support, social work, Centrelink referrals, laundry facilities, and free medical care.
April Charity of the Month: Soul Hub
This holistic approach enables individuals to tackle the root causes of their struggles and work toward reintegration into society.
To support this important mission, The Wests Group, through its ClubGRANTs initiative, has committed $85,000 to Soul Hub.
This funding will help sustain their food and outreach programs, ultimately improving the safety, health, and wellbeing of Newcastle’s most vulnerable citizens.
By naming Soul Hub as April’s Charity of the Month, the Newcastle Knights reaffirm their dedication to standing alongside community organisations that deliver real, lasting impact.
