The nib Newcastle Knights have kept the momentum rolling in their National Rugby League Women’s premiership program, announcing the re-signings of Olivia Higgins, Simone Karpani, Viena Tinao and Nita Maynard to further bolster their 2024 roster.
Higgins and Karpani both extended their contacts for a further three years (3rd year options), Tinao for two more seasons and Maynard will remain with the Knights in 2024.
Knights female participation pathways continue to produce elite talent, highlighted by local players Lilly-Ann White and Leah Ollerton signing two-year deals, taking up NRLW development contracts next season.
nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr spoke about these signings and the progression of the female programs.
“We are delighted the six players have committed to the club, joining the other 18 players already on contract for 2024 and beyond," Parr said.
