The nib Newcastle Knights have re-signed outside back Enari Tuala and back-rower Dylan Lucas to new National Rugby League contracts for the upcoming seasons.
Lucas, 23, has committed to the club for a further two seasons after agreeing to terms on a contract extension until the end of 2025 and Tuala for an additional season, to take his time in the red and blue jersey to five seasons.
A talented back-rower, Lucas joined the Knights in 2019, working his way through the pathways systems as a try-scoring centre.
During the 2023 pre-season, Lucas made the successful transition into the back-row, making his NRL debut in Round 3 against the Dolphins at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Peter Parr
Tuala, 24, joined the Knights for the 2020 season, going on to make 70 appearances over the past four seasons, including the clubs leading try scorer twice and establishing himself as a reliable teammate, having played almost every NRL game prior to this season.
nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said these signings have further enhanced the NRL squad moving forward.
