Cartwright to become a Knight

The nib Newcastle Knights have signed versatile forward Jed Cartwright on a two-year deal for the 2024 and 2025 National Rugby League seasons.

Cartwright, 26, has made 15 NRL appearances for South Sydney this season, playing in both the backrow and the centres, highlighting his versatility to play middle and edge forward roles, along with long minutes in the backline.

Standing at 194cms and weighting in at 104kg, Cartwright possesses a unique skillset that suits the modern game.

“Jed has been involved with top tier clubs during his rugby league career," Parr said.

“He has an excellent work ethic and an ability to play different positions.
