Recovery Report: Elliott and Ponga update

In this week's Recovery Report, the nib Newcastle Knights squad has been assessed ahead of our Round 6 match against the Warriors this Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Tyson Gamble will be unavailable for selection due to the compulsory concussion standown requirements after being assessed as category 1 HIA against the Sea Eagles in Mudgee.

Adam Clune has undergone surgery on his fractured hand and is now working though his return to performance program.

Kalyn Ponga, has returned to modified team training, after his recent trip to Canada. Our Performance team are awaiting all results before making an informed decision on his return to play timeline.

Adam Elliott and Krystian Mapapalangi remain within the rehab squad whilst continuing to work though their respective return to performance programs.
