Knights Welcome Ausure On Board for 2023

The nib Newcastle Knights are proud to join forces with Ausure Insurance Brokers ahead of kick-off of National Rugby League season 2023.

The expanded partnership will see the Ausure logo adorn the Knights playing and training shorts for the next two seasons.

100% Australian owned and operated, Ausure’s roots stretch back to 1996 and the company’s association with the Knights – and with Newcastle – is longstanding, thanks to the support that local business owners David Summers, Travis Hargreaves and Nathan Wicks, have provided to charities, organisations and sporting clubs across the region.

Local business owners conveyed, “We love the Hunter, The mining industry, The businesses and the community that is Newcastle.. We can’t think of a better way to get involved with the feeling and passion that is our community other than throwing our support behind the knights.  To be truthful This feels like the beginning of a very large and important chapter in the history of Ausure”.

The partnership leverages this local presence – in addition to Ausure’s network of 255 Authorised Representatives and 107 locations nationwide – to take both brands to new levels.

“At the Knights, we are proud to represent our region, our community, and our partners on the national and international stage,” nib Newcastle Knights & Wests Group Australia Group Chief Executive Officer Mr. Philip Gardner says.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ausure to the Knights family – they are yet another example of an organisation doing great things here in Newcastle and the Hunter, and across Australia.

“Ausure has long been a fixture in the Newcastle business community, and we are excited to be working with them as they continue to grow their business in the years to come.

“I would like to thank their CEO Scott McCarthy for the vote of confidence, and I also thank David, Travis and Nathan for the integral role they played in bringing this partnership to life.

“We cannot wait to represent the Ausure brand with pride and we look forward to this being a long and fruitful partnership for both organisations.”
