Everything you need to know about the 2023 draw

The 2023 full NRL draw has dropped with anticipation building for the new season. 

The nib Newcastle Knights open their season against the Warriors in Wellington, New Zealand, followed by the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval in Round 2 before returning home for their first home game against the new franchise, the Dolphins, in Round 3.

Pre-season Challenge games:

The Knights will take on the Cronulla Sharks and Parramatta Eels in the Pre-Season Challenge in the lead up to the 2023 season.

Both games will be played in February at Central Coast Stadium on Friday afternoons.

Broadcasted on Fox League, you can catch the two games from 5:55pm.

Teams we play twice:

Dolphins, Panthers, Bulldogs, Raiders, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Warriors and Wests Tigers

Teams we play once:

Broncos, Cowboys, Roosters, Storm, Dragons, Titans, Eels, Rabbitohs

Byes:

Rounds 10, 14 and 19

What days we play:

Friday: 4 games

Saturday: 11 games

Sunday: 9 games

Home games

The boys love playing at home and we've got some huge clashes coming to McDonald Jones Stadium in 2023.

Newcastle's first home game will be against newcomers, the Dolphins, while you wont want to miss our match-ups against rivals Manly and the Roosters.

Old Boys Day is also schedule in its traditional place in the last home game of the season against the Sharks.

The Knights will have six games on Nine this season including some blockbuster clashes.

The team will have Sunday afternoon fixtures against the Raiders, Sea Eagles, Tigers, Bulldogs and Sharks on free-to-air.
