The NSW Cup side has gone down by 56 points to the North Sydney Bears on Sunday.

Nicholas O'Meley scored the Knights sole four-pointer as the Bears posted 11 tries on their way to victory.

Jersey Flegg Cup - Knights 22-14 Roosters

In a huge result for our Jersey Flegg Cup team, the side toppled the ladder leading Sydney Roosters by eight points on Sunday in Sydney.

The Roosters were fast out of the blocks scoring three tries in the first half.

Knights centre, James Johnson got across the line to give the red and blue a boost heading into the change of ends.

The Knights put on the attacking flair in the second half with Fletcher Sharpe showcasing his speed to race 40 metres and score under the posts.

Two barge-over tries from Noah Nailagoliva put the Knights in front while the team was good enough to hold the Roosters to nil in the second half to claim the win.

The result keeps the Knights in second spot on the ladder with 13 wins for the season.

Looking to solidify a top two place, the side will be back at home to take on the Canberra raiders this Saturday at No.2 Sports Ground.
