nib Newcastle Knights utility back Tex Hoy will depart Newcastle at the end of the 2022 National Rugby League season after accepting a two-year deal with English Super League club Hull F.C.
Hoy, 22, has secured the multi-year deal, presenting a great opportunity to play week in week out football in his preferred position of fullback.
The Souths Newcastle junior has featured in 23 NRL matches since his debut in May 2020, crossing for three tries.
With age on his side, the move is an opportunity for Hoy to further develop his game while experiencing life in another country.
A product of the Knights pathways system, his connection to the club and those within it remains strong and the door will always be open for a potential return in years to come.
