Gerard Black, Ronald Griffiths and Ash Gordon join the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast

In a special episode of the podcast ahead of NRL Indigenous Round, we caught up with proud Worimi man, Gerard Black, the artist of this year's Newcastle Knights Indigenous jersey.

Black describes the meaning behind the jersey including it's 13 totems representing the broader region and the inspiration behind the incredible artwork.

We also catch up with new NRLW Head Coach and proud Gamilaroi man, Ronald Griffiths, to chat about all things in the women's game including the recent marquee signings, how the squad is coming together and the pathways systems in place.

The Knights first ever signing and proud Gamilaroi man, Ash Gordon, also joins the podcast to share stories from his playing days and his pride in seeing this year's jersey.

The pair also discuss some of their favourite Indigenous players from over the years while discussing the significance of Indigenous Round.
