Frizell set to be rested as Johns pushes his claim

nib Newcastle Knights Head Coach, Adam O'Brien, has revealed back-rower Tyson Frizell is set to be rested for tomorrow afternoon's clash with Brisbane.

O'Brien revealed the change in his 24-hour presser on Friday morning, with Jack Johns start for the first time this season.

"I was just looking at Friz this week and it sort of came to me that Jack's been training well, so we need to give him a go," he said.

Pasami Saulo is the man firming to come onto the bench is Johns' place, with the forward set to play his first game since suffering a serious leg injury back in Round 9.

The changes to the line up will be confirmed at today's 24 hour squad update.
