ON THE PERFORMANCE

"Making the finals is great," O'Brien said.

"I think the opposition completed really well and through a lot of footy at us.

"We just kept finding a way to pick ourselves up and keep fighting.

"It's a young team in terms of our bench, inexperienced, but they didn't care. They just said all week that they're going to fight and that is what they did.

PEARCE DISPLAY

"He was huge," O'Brien said.

"He shouldered a lot of the frustration with the team last week when we were dissecting our attack.

"Champions stand up in the big moments and that is what he did.

"Him and Cliff, I think we've got a 100 per cent record with those guys.

"They're doing a good job the halves and I thought KP was in everything too."

FINALS BOUND

"It's a different competition once we get in the finals," O'Brien said.

"You've got to be really good for a month.

"(On the attack) I thought there was some of what we worked on during the week, and we get to evolve that now. We've got a longer turnaround.

"I would like to see that continually progress.

"At the moment I'm not critiquing them, I'm patting them on the back."
