Man of the Match: Hard to separate strong field

What a win that was!

With plenty on the line up in the Sunshine State, the Knights pulled out one of their most impressive performances of the season, downing Canberra 34-24 at Suncorp Stadium.

There were plenty of impressive troops on the park, and we found it incredibly hard to narrow it down to just three players.

Enari Tuala

The top Knights try-scorer in 2020, Tuala has been uncharacteristically quiet for much of the 2021 season.

However, he had no trouble finding the stripe today.

The North Queensland junior grabbed his first ever career hat-trick, finishing off three movements with brilliant efforts.

He also topped the outside backs for run metres with 140, broke six tackles and made three line breaks.

A quality effort on his return to the wing.

Mitch Barnett

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

That's exactly what 'Barney' did this afternoon, standing up to a dynamic Raiders pack and dominating in every way.

Barnett made 48 tackles with zero misses and lead the way with the footy, running for 129 run metres.

A terrific display for the Enforcer.

Bradman Best

Finally, the beast himself.

After sitting out seven weeks with a syndesmosis injury, Bradman Best was back to his dynamic self on his return to the park.

Best was a constant threat on the left edge, finishing with a try, 116 run metres, a try assist, two line break assists and a line break of his own.

Throw in four tackle breaks, and you've got yourself the makings of a five star performance.
