The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to confirm the addition of 'FanFest' to our 2021 pre-season calendar.
Replacing the Community Season Launch, the Knights will be offering a free, open-to-all event on February 20, 2021 at Cessnock Sports Ground.
The event will run all day, kicking off at 11am and wrapping up at 8pm.
Fans will be treated to activities for the whole family, as well as entertainment and a chance to meet and greet the team.
Members and fans can meet new recruits and catch up with their favourite Knights players, with the entire 2021 playing squad to be in attendance.
Best: Preparing for trials, staying fit and mindsets
In an added bonus, attendees will also get to witness the next generation of Knights talent, with the Harold Matthews and SG Ball sides to take on the Penrith Panthers from 11am and 12:30pm respectively.
The NRL squad will then take to the field for an open-training session, followed by an opportunity for the public to meet and mingle with the squad.
The day will conclude with a NSW Cup trial match against 2020 Newcastle Rugby League Premiers, the Cessnock Goannas, from 6pm.
For those little ones looking to give rugby league a go, we will be holding a free Come and Try Clinic as part of the event for boys and girls aged between 5 and 12 years of age.

We'll also have club representatives from the local Maitland and District Junior Rugby League Association on hand to assist you with any enquiries you may have about joining a local club.
The clinic will be available anytime between 2pm and 6pm.
