Joey's Rd19 Tips: Landslide week in tipsters dream

It’s another big round of NRL action this weekend and club legend Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns once again has you covered if you need help with your weekly tips.

Last week, The Great Man came SO CLOSE to the elusive perfect round, picking the first seven games correctly before the Warriors let him down in the late game on Sunday.

However, the Eighth has never been so confident of finally picking up a couple of bonus points, with seven of this week's games featuring a top eight team against a bottom eight side.

In this series, he will preview and review every single nib Newcastle Knights game in 2020 and will also be providing his tips for all eight games, every round.

Rabbitohs v Bulldogs

Joey's Tip: Rabbitohs

"By plenty," The Great Man said.

Cowboys v Panthers

Joey's Tip: Panthers

"By a heap," Joey said.

Eels v Broncos

Joey's Tip: Eels

Despite their poor recent form, Johns refused to tip the hapless Broncos.

A quick check of the dictionary sees "shellacking" as the perfect adjective for what Johns is expecting from this one.

Sea Eagles v Titans

Joey's Tip: Sea Eagles

This game is probably the closest to a coin toss this week, however it presents a similar story for the Eighth Immortal.

"Turbo Tommy Trbojevic back for Manly, it's a massive in," Johns said.

"Eagles 13+."

Storm v Tigers

Joey's Tip: Storm

Look away Tigers fans, because Johns believes you've got a "hammering" coming for your Saturday night.

Roosters v Sharks

Joey's Tip: Roosters

Despite securing a finals berth last week, The Great Man is predicting the Sharks will be on the end of a "flogging" this weekend.

Raiders v Warriors

Joey's Tip: Raiders

Almost running out of adjectives, The Eighth settled on a "belting" for the early clash on Sunday.

Knights v Dragons

Joey's Tip: Knights

To wrap up Round 19, we have our traditional Old Boys Day clash, this year with the Dragons.

As the team have done on plenty of occasions in years gone by, Johns reckons the boys will bounce back and once again taste victory on the Club's biggest day of the year.
