Knights send support to Dark family

The nib Newcastle Knights wish to extend our well wishes and support to the Dark family.

Joel Dark, who was part of the Club’s junior program, was injured in his first-grade debut for Central Newcastle against Western Suburbs over the weekend.

The 19-year-old Old Bar product remains in a critical condition at John Hunter Hospital.

General Manager of Football, Danny Buderus, said; “Being from Taree myself, the Dark family are a well-known and much loved rugby league family.

“They are good people who would do anything for anyone.

“Both Joel and older brother Kurtis, have been involved in the pathway system at the Knights.

“I am encouraging anyone who is able to help the family in their time of need to support their GoFundMe page.”
