Numbers: Klemmer's runs push Knights on

These are the numbers that matter.

While stats can't tell you everything, they do paint a very telling picture.

Here's what they told us following the Round 15 clash against the Cowboys.

Highlights: Knights crush Cows in midfield slog

145

Post contact metres for David Klemmer.

We say it every week, but this man is near unstoppable at his best.

His 145 post contact metres are more than what most forwards run in total most weeks.

Klemmer ran for over 246 run metres and made 32 tackles along with it.

210

Run metres from Mitch Barnett.

Speaking of running metres, Barnett pulled off a big 80-minute effort tonight in the middle which included 79 post-contact metres.

Kalyn Ponga also made massive metres with 237 as well as...

2

Try assists by Kalyn Ponga.

Both tries tonight came from perfect passes from the young fullback as he takes his overall tally to 11.

He also managed two line break assists and chalked up five tackle breaks with it.

38

Tackles made by Phoenix Crossland.

He's spent most of his career in the halves but following an injury to Blake Green, he spent the rest of the game in hooker and did the role proud.

He almost topped the team for tackles with only Mitch Barnett (39) out tackling him proving his case as a valuable utility.
