It’s another big round of NRL action this weekend and club legend Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns once again has you covered if you need help with your weekly tips.
In this series, he will preview and review every single nib Newcastle Knights game in 2020, and will also be providing his tips for all eight games, every round.
Eels v Storm

“It’s a tough one,” Johns said about this one.
Arguably the match of the round will kick it off this weekend and it’s extra special for Joey as his youngest nephew Cooper Johns is set to make his debut for the visitors.
Despite that, the Great Man is picking the hosts to bounce back after losing last week.
Panthers v Sharks
Joey’s Tip: Panthers
Penrith have been flying in 2020 and Johns expects that to continue when the Sharks come to visit.
The win would see the team go to 10 wins in a row and extend their lead at the top.
Broncos v Dragons

They’ve gone five games without a point and Joey thinks Brisbane they’re going to struggle when they face the Dragons.
Sitting six points out of the eight, every game is a must-win for the St.George-Illawarra club.
Titans v Raiders

Looking to push their way into the top four, the Raiders are the Eighth Immortal’s pick to win over the Titans.
Tigers v Roosters
Joey’s Tip: Tigers
Here it is – the upset of the week.
The huge amount of injuries the Chooks have experienced have resulted in Joey going against the premiers, however he’s still expecting an exciting game.
“This will be really tight one,” he said.
“I don’t see where the points are going to come from for the Roosters.”
Rabbitohs v Manly
Joey's Tip: Rabbitohs
In a game that may decide top eighth early, Joey has tipped the Rabbits to continue their winning streak to four games which would almost cement Manly outside of the finals.
Bulldogs v Warriors
Joey's Tip: Warriors
Although it seems this game won’t make any kind of dent in the finals race, it does have an impact on the fight to avoid the wooden spoon.
Johns has selected the Warriors to win though which would keep the Dogs squandering at the bottom.
Knights v Cowboys
Joey's Tip: Knights
The Club legend has picked us for the win again! He thinks we’ll win by “plenty”, but it’s up to the boys to put in a top performance if that’s to happen.
