Social: Macca on the mend, Boys' day off

See what the nib Newcastle Knights players have been getting up to in their down time.

We've been keeping across the social media accounts of our troops and this is what they've been up to.

MACCA'S INJURY RECOVERY

After injuring his hamstring a couple of weeks ago, Andrew McCullough has begun his recovery having successfully received surgery. The dummy-half took to social media to not only thank the Knights supporters and those who sent kind messages, but also his wife for all her support. He also seemed enjoyed himself on the happy gas and had what seems to be a humourous conversation with Kalyn Ponga and Tex Hoy.

INDIGENOUS ROUND

Many of the boys loved playing in their Indigenous painted boots and being a part of the special round, including one of our off-season recruits, Enari Tuala.

GOLF ON THE TRAINING FIELD

Thursday saw the boys enjoy a day off before going into battle against the Tigers, and some of the players turned their usual training paddock, into a chipping course.

Development player Mat Croker posted the 'golf-course' on his Instagram page and the results are actually quite impressive.
