nib Newcastle Knights coach Adam O'Brien has named Kurt Mann at five-eighth ahead of Saturday's game against Melbourne.
Mann left the field four minutes from fulltime in Sunday's win over Canberra after injuring his ankle but the Club will give him every opportunity to prove his fitness.
Playmaker Phoenix Crossland has been included on the extended bench.
