The nib Newcastle Knights can reveal Kurt Mann has been announced as the first player to be confirmed as part of the Perth NRL Nines squad.
The 26-year-old speedster can cover a host of positions with the versatility and agility making him an ideal player for the nine-man game.
Mann is no stranger to the concept, having featured for the Storm in the Auckland Nines back in 2014 prior to making his NRL debut.
He also represented the Storm in 2015 and the Dragons in both 2016 and 2017.
The two-day tournament at Perth’s HBF Park kicks-off on February 14.
