nib Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown has named his team for the Round 17 clash against Canterbury-Bankstown on Friday.
With the State of Origin series decider set for Wednesday night, the Knights have named Mitchell Pearce for the McDonald Jones Stadium match-up.
Josh King will start alongside James Gavet in the middle, with Jamie Buhrer starting in the backrow for the injured Lachlan Fitzgibbon.

Sione Mata'utia is on the other edge after playing centre last week.
Phoenix Crossland has been retained on the bench for what will be his second NRL match, with Origin representatives Tim Glasby, David Klemmer and Daniel Saifiti on the extended bench.
