Mitchell Pearce has outlined his 10-week recipe for success.
It’s simple really and most importantly, it’s been working for him.
The mindset is as follows: Compete hard, stay in the moment and most importantly, set the standard for the team through efforts at training and in games.

Speaking on the Matty Johns Show, Pearce discussed the pressure he faced earlier this year as the team struggled to find form.
“We weren’t getting results,” he said.

“As the leader of the Club, when the team isn’t flowing you have sleepless nights.”
While never wavering in his belief that the Knights would click, the nib Newcastle Knights playmaker put the slow start down to a lack of cohesion which forced Pearce to “look within” as a leader.
With 10 games remaining in the regular season, Pearce is motivated to lead the team into the finals.
He stated that his aim is to; “compete, stay in the moment and work hard for my teammates and set the example at both training and on-field.
“Going into the Parramatta game, I went in thinking ‘I’m going win no matter what, I’m going to compete on everything’.”
He's doing just that.
