Update: Lino pleads guilty to dangerous contact

UPDATE: Mason Lino has taken an early guilty plea after he was charged by the NRL match review committee with a grade-one dangerous contact while playing for Samoa in Saturday night's Test against Papua New Guinea.

The Knights playmaker came off the bench for the Leichhardt Oval clash and was cited after his knee game in contact with Papua New Guinea's Terry Wapi during a tackle.

The charge carried a penalty of 100 points but Lino has escaped suspension with the early guilty plea.

Samoa won the physical match with the Kumuls 24-6.
