Injury update: Great news for Ramien and Moga

Jesse Ramien missed last weekend with a low-grade AC joint issue.

Head of Physical Performance, Balin Cupples, said the young gun was close to facing the Warriors last week and is recovering well.

The centre is likely to be fully fit this weekend and take the field against the Bulldogs in Magic Round on Saturday.

“Jesse was always going to be given the week,” Cupples said.

“He got through ha fair few progressions with contact.

“A few extra training sessions for him early in the week and we should see him come the weekend.”

In more positive news for the Club, Tautau Moga has been cleared to return to the field after missing a week with a knee issue.

“Tau went down in the Canterbury Cup game a few weeks ago,” Cupples said.

“We sent him for scans and did all the necessary follow up. It came back he had a small lateral meniscus injury.

“He’s trained all last week. Full strength and full range.

“He’ll be available come this weekend.”

Finally, backrower Aidan Guerra is recovering well following ankle surgery.

The former Test and Origin workhorse is back at training and into his rehab work.

“Aidan has been in around the players and done his extras,” Cupples said.

‘He’s started some weight bearing and building that real early.

“It’s good positive signs for Aidan.”
