Power Rankings Round 6

In 2019, newcastleknights.com.au will be awarding our own 3, 2, 1 each week.

We’ll keep tally as we rank the performances of our troops throughout the season.

Kalyn Ponga has secured the top spot following consistent performances in recent weeks.

Here’s how the nib Newcastle Knights look after Round 6.

3 - Kalyn Ponga

The whiz kid impressed.

He dazzled with his footwork, one blistering run resulted in a try as a result of burning his opposition number 1.

2 - Mitch Pearce

The halfback is finding form.

Pearce was strong in a losing side.

He kicked well and made smart decisions with the ball in hand, setting up a try.

1 - Mitch Barnett

It was a tireless effort from the backrower who made 44 tackles.

His hard work resulted in a try, competing for a grubber kick which looked almost certain to go dead.
