Injury update: Saifiti twins progress, Lino update

The Saifiti twins are edging closer to a return from injury.

Daniel Saifiti picked up leg and foot injuries in the opening round win over Cronulla but is on the mend according to Head of Physical Performance, Balin Cupples.

Injury Report: Update on Saifiti's and Lino

"Daniel went down in Round 1.

"Last week he has come through his running progressions and built his distance up, and progressed really well.

"He has started to build some good volume in there, with work on the field and focusing on building his speed.

"Daniel will build through some contact protocols and some change of direction.

"He is progressing really well and we should see him back up for selection very soon."

Meanwhile, Mason Lino has been cleared of a knee injury.

The half limped off the field in the Canterbury Cup NSW clash on the weekend but is expected to be available for selection this weekend.

"Mason didn't have the best return on the weekend.

"He came down on the fat pad on the same knee he injured, and probably scared himself a little bit.
