Pasami Saulo has been dealt a blow ahead of the 2019 season opener.
The forward picked up a hand injury last week which required surgery.
The youngster is now recovering and targeting a return in the early rounds of the season.
“Unfortunately, he reeled out of a tackle and came away with a fractured fifth metacarpal in his hand,” Head of Physical Performance, Balin Cupples explained.

“Unlucky for Pasami this close to the season.
“He had an operation, had a plate inserted.
“Initial diagnosis was 4-6-week injury. We hope the plate will strengthen the hand up and we should see Pasami around that Round 4-5 mark.”
