New homes for ex-Knights forwards

Luke Yates has joined the London Broncos.

The 23-year-old has signed a one-year-deal with the Super League franchise for the 2019 season.

Yates had been training with the nib Newcastle Knights earlier in the pre-season in order to keep his fitness at an elite level before moving to England.

"This is a great opportunity for me to be able to play in the Super League," Yates said.

"I hope we can compete and shock a couple of those top teams in the process. I must admit it's a lot colder than when I left Sydney but I am sure it won't take long to acclimatize."
