CRL Newcastle representative Isabelle Kelly has received the women's inaugural Golden Boot award.

Kelly is now regarded as the world's best female rugby league player for 2018.

The 22-year-old was recognised this week for her stellar season across national and international level.

A Newcastle product, Kelly was awarded the Nellie Doherty Medal for best on ground in State of Origin match and received the top women's prize at the Brad Fittler Medal awards night.
