Mason Lino has signed on for the next two seasons as the nib Newcastle Knights look to secure their roster for 2019.
Lino's signing is the first of a number expected to follow before a ball is kicked next year.
Granted a release from the remaining season of his contract, Lino is excited by what lies ahead.
"It's tough leaving the club because it has been my home and I'm so thankful for all the opportunities I've had here but I'm also excited about what's ahead for me," Lino told the Warriors website.
