While it appeared the Knights would head into halftime in control, Roosters backrower Lyndon Hills had other ideas.

He crossed just a few minutes before halftime to keep the Roosters within two points.

Tex Hoy extended the Knights' lead six minutes after the break before Hills crossed for his second to keep the Roosters in the game.

It was five minutes after Hills went in that the Knights upped the ante.
