The 2018 nib Newcastle Knights awards evening crowned a new Danny Buderus medal winner.
Kalyn Ponga took out the night's top award following a stellar season from the fullback turned five-eighth.
The evening also included a formal farewell to the Club's departing players, including retirees Chris Heighington and Jacob Lillyman, as well as Jack Cogger, Nick Meaney, Brock Lamb and Pat Mata'utia.

The Knights thank them for their contribution to the Club and wishes them well for the future.
The evening was held on Wednesday at Wests City with all three grades acknowledged during the event.
