Recruits wrap-up: 'We're getting him at a good time'

They won't all be wearing red and blue until next season but that doesn't mean we're not keeping track of our new recruits.

With the 2019 NRL pre-season getting closer by the minute, we've been keeping a close eye on how the likes of Jesse Ramien, Tim Glasby and Edrick Lee have been performing.

Fortunately for the Club, all our new additions have been in fine form.

TIM GLASBY

Heighington sees off old teammates for last time

The Melbourne forward produced one of his best performances this season against the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The workhorse pushed out 47 minutes.

During that time he made 135 metres from 14 carries.

He also made 60 metres post-contact.

Without the ball he made 33 tackles with just the one missed.

EDRICK LEE

Lee had a field day against his new Club on Sunday, scoring a double.

Not only did he secure two tries but he kicked a goal and made a line break.

Without the ball, he also impressed with several bone rattling tackles.

Round 24 highlights: Title contenders too strong

While coach Nathan Brown felt Lee's impact this weekend, he spoke of his impending arrival with excitement.

"He's had a great year for the Sharks," Brown said of the flyer.

"He's a player they'd be disappointed to be losing, I would think.

"We feel we're getting him at a good time.

"He certainly makes our team a lot stronger."

JESSE RAMIEN

The centre was injured last week and missed Sunday's game.
