nib Newcastle Knights five-eighth Connor Watson suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s match at Allianz Stadium against the Sydney Roosters.
Scans on Sunday revealed Watson had a capsular injury to his left shoulder.
The Club’s medical staff in consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon, believe managing his shoulder conservatively is his best option.
He will undergo an intensive rehabilitation program and be sidelined for approximately six to eight weeks.
