The red an blues came up against the defending premiers as big underdogs in this match at AAMI Park.

Akuila Uate, Chris Houston and Matt Hilder grabbed the tries for the visitors, but it was the efforts in defence that sealed the win and extended Club legend Danny Buderus’ career one game longer.

What made the win even more impressive was that it was the Club’s first victory in the Victorian capital in 11 games.
