The nib Newcastle Knights have granted Trent Hodkinson’s request for a release from the final year of his contract, effective immediately.
Hodkinson joined Newcastle in 2016 and he has played 40 NRL matches for the Club.
“Trent has been an excellent role model for our young players,” General Manger Football Darren Mooney said.
“He is a well-respected teammate and contributed immensely to our community program.
“We understand Trent’s decision to leave the Club and we wish him and wife Chantelle all the best for the future.”
