nib Newcastle Knights and Italy halfback Jack Johns suffered a fractured forearm in Sunday’s World Cup match against Ireland in Cairns.
Johns has returned to Newcastle and is scheduled for surgery on Thursday.
The 20-year-old is expected to return to light duties within three weeks, before commencing full training in six-to-eight weeks.
