The Club farewells Pauli Pauli, who joined the nib Newcastle Knights on the eve of the 2016 season.

The 23-year-old, who made his NRL debut for the Parramatta Eels in 2014, has notched up 48 NRL games.

Pauli debuted for the Knights in Round 1 of the 2016 season and went on to play 15 NRL games in both the front and back row.

A car accident in the 2017 pre-season sidelined Pauli with a dislocated hip and while he made a comeback to Reserve Grade in Round 5, he suffered a broken leg in a later match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and was ruled out for the rest of the season.

While it was a year of bad luck for Pauli, the likeable and easy-going forward worked hard to recover and was rewarded with NSW City representation in May.
