nib Newcastle Knights winger Ken Sio said there’s a good vibe around camp as they prepare to meet the Gold Coast Titans for the second time this season.

“Everyone has moved on from last week, it wasn't one of our best performances but all the boys are pumped to get up there and get the win,” commented Sio.

Sio admits last week’s loss to the North Queensland Cowboys saw some poor decisions but the squad has been able to move forward, ready for Round 9.

“Think it was our second half that was really lacking but hopefully we put in the full 80 minutes and pull through,” explained Sio.

“That was what we worked on this week, moving the ball to our centres and letting them do their magic.”

The 26-year-old said it’s most likely the Titans will go down the middle on Saturday but they’ll be ready.

“If they do, we’ll take the edges with some good ball, we’ll be up for that and it’s what we’ve been practising all week,” said the Knights winger.

Seven weeks ago, was the last time the two teams met, the Knights recording their first win by eight points in Round 2.

“There was a lot of good stuff in Round 2 but we’ve just got to get the feeling back and continue that throughout the whole season,” Sio added.

Sio admits it will be the Titans’ outside backs who will be able to do some damage.

“You have got Konrad (Hurrell) who is a strong runner and (Anthony) Don, you don’t hear much from him until he makes a line break, he’s quick,” maintained Sio.

“It is going to be a good game up there and may the best team win.”

“We will be going there to do our job; we will worry about us and our game and put in a full 80-minute performance that we’ve been working on this whole week.”
