Newcastle Knights Old Boy Troy Miles needs your support as he recovers from a motorbike accident that left him with a serious spinal injury.

The accident happened when the 42-year-old was on a trip to South Australia in May 2016.

Volunteers and players from the Lakes United Seagulls Rugby League Football Club will be at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday for the Knights clash against the Rabbitohs.

They will be carrying around collection buckets, gathering donations for Miles and his family to go towards his medical, rehabilitation and ongoing expenses.

The dad of three, who was part of the history-making 1995 reserve grade premiership team, is a passionate member of the Lakes United Football Club.
