This Friday four of the nib Newcastle Knights’ junior sides will be playing trial matches in Denman as preparations for the 2017 season continue to ramp up.

The Under 14s, 15s, 16s and 17s sides will be playing against Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School at the Denman Recreation Ground, a new facility in the Hunter town.

Elite Pathways Recruitment Manager Alex McKinnon joined with deputy principal of Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School David Gale to put the games on.

“We’re excited to take some of our junior sides out to play in a regional area and to also play on the new facility at Denman,” McKinnon said.

“It will be a great opportunity to watch some of our talented young players in action, so I encourage anyone with a passion for rugby league to come along and watch.”

The first match will kick off at 4pm.
