The Newcastle Knights were defeated by Mounties 33-22 at Aubrey Keech Reserve on Saturday.
Mounties were ahead 18-10 at half time with Knights' Pat Mata'utia and Pauli Pauli crossing over for tries.
However the opposition built momentum in the second half to secure a win, despite another try from Pauli Pauli as well as Matt Soper-Lawler.
