Robbie Rochow answered a number of questions regarding his playing future during Monday's press conference at Knights HQ.

A local junior, Rochow joined the Club in 2012 and is contracted until the end of this season.

"Once I have got an offer (from the Knights), I will make a decision from there," Rochow said.

The 25-year old was asked if current form of the team at Newcastle would affect his decision.

"I don't tend to look at the ladder... you obviously play to win but it is the way you do it," he replied.

"If we can improve on that performance and see some improvement, it isn't losing all the time that is going to affect my mindset.

"If we compete hard and improve every week, that is where I want to be.

"It is about being proud in the performance we put in out on the park."

Asked if his preference was to stay in Newcastle, that answer was simple.

"For sure," the Maitland junior said.

"It is my home here and I don't want to leave so hopefully we can sort that out over the next month or two."
